DOG/OWNER COACHING
- The best way to form a trusting team! -
It is fact that every single dog is an own personality and every owner is one too and the situation dog and owner are living together in, is individual too.

In case of miscommunication or problems between dog and owner, Maureen first comes to your home to make an onsite analysis.
After this you and she will decide about the next steps to take.
And there are several possibilities. Which one you choose depends of course on the challenges you and your dog(s) are confronted with.

We offer a 2 Step Coaching-Program in your home with the entire family
​
The quickest results - and that is what we achieve to make - you will have with an individual Coaching in your home, accompanied by all inhabitants, so everybody will be on the same level of understanding. And yes, that includes your Kids too!

The aim is that at the end of the Coaching, the participants will better understand the behavior of their dogs and learn how to communicate with their dogs, so that both really understand each other and know what the other wants to tell.

If your dog has special needs, we can take it to a week of intense individual dog training to Renno Ranch on top.
But in any case, you as the owner, will have to be 'trained' as well to change behavior to find into a better communication with your dog
BootCamp for your dog
- Intense focus training for min. 1 week -
In a BootCamp your dog will learn to strictly follow basic orders and how to follow a leader. Within one week (which your buddy spends here on Renno Ranch) this should be done. If you have other priorities which you would like us to teach your dog, you are welcome to let us know and we can discuss if that can be realized within that time.
BootCamp Part 1
First we have to establish a trusting relationship with your dog, which takes 1 or 2 days. Of course within this time the first training units are held as well. Over the next several days Maureen trains with a focus on:

Be social with other dogs

Learn the dog language and how to integrate

Obedience training, listening, discipline and accepting the authority of (a) the leader
After one week your dog will have learned a lot (much more than can be enumerated here). We do not do any dressage or teach tricks, we teach only the real necessities for a trustful relationship between dog and owner.
BootCamp Part 2
Being a good leader is a basic requirement for a smooth relationship with your buddy in every situation of the day, wherever you are.
Examples: Respectful treatment, trustworthiness, reliability, attention, constant leadership, consistency, permanent dog training

​When you pick up your dog, you will get your own coaching unit to understand the important needs of your dog and will learn the basics of communication with your dog.
We will explain and exercise how you become a leader to your dog.
​
Tip: If you integrate the BootCamp for your dog into a longer vacation stay, we have more time to deal with your buddy and the BootCamp will be even more effective.
